Theory Test

The theory test is made up of a multiple choice part and a hazard perception part.

The multiple choice is 50 questions which you have to get 43 correct to pass.

The hazard perception part is a number of video clips showing real life driving scenes, you will need to respond by pressing the computer mouse as soon as you see the hazard developing as this will give you a higher score, the later you respond the lower the mark you will get and if you continually keep pressing the mouse for no reason this could result in a message appearing scored zero.

You will need to get 44 marks out of a possible 75 in order to pass this part of the test.

Your results will be given to you at the end of the test. Both parts of the theory need to be passed otherwise you will need to retake both parts of the theory test again.

The current cost of the theory test is £31.00

Booking the test can be made by phone direct to the Dsa 0300 200 1122
